This temple is said to have been associated with the mythological period of the Mahabharata and one of most visited site visited by hindus.

We recommend you to not visit this holy place in monsoon season because sudden and dangerous landslides that take place in Himachal Pradesh at that time due to heavy rainfall.

Masroor is located at the distance of 43 Km from Dharamshala. You can hire a cab from vacationhimachal to reach this ancient temple.

This temple is dedicated to lord shiva who is believe to have set foot on this holy ground. The idols of Ram, Sita and Laxman are also preset at the temple complex. There is water pool in the temple premises.

According to the history this temple had been built by the Pandavas of Mahabharata during the time of their exile.
